I love Blythe, especially EBLs as they look a bit moody. The most beautiful Blythe in my eyes is StarD – she is just perfect but at the end of the day I love them all the same :D

How did you begin your collection?
It happened by accident when I found a picture of Blythe on Google. It was love at first sight even if I never was a doll person before! Actually I really didn’t like dolls or dolly people before but Blythe strucked me like a bolt of lightning! For me she is the incarnation of the perfect 60s woman
so beautiful, pretty and cute
I fell in love and bought a Lounging Lovely on Ebay. Her name is Luna :)

What would you like to say about your creations?
I am a 60s addict and you will find hints to the mod culture in nearly all of my creations. I think Blythe clothing should be as valuable as the doll herself, this is what I keep in mind when choosing and making these pieces of love – because Blythe deserves only the best!

What are your favourite dolls? My original one, she is one of the American Girl Barbies.

Since how long do you collect them? I received my first Barbie as a child.

How did you begin your collection? With my first Barbie from the 1960s...she was the only one until many years later I got the Uptown Chic collector doll. I am very very selective and thus only have a few.

What would you like to say about your creations?
I've been making Barbie clothes for as long as I can remember. Every one is One Of A Kind (OOAK) - even if I wanted to, I don't think I could make two the same! I like to make sure that some of them have full open backs so that the younger children are able to dress dolls - little ones have a hard time understanding that the doll's feet must go into the dress first, then the arms. So I leave the back open so that they just put in the arms to dress the doll. Not all of the outfits are made like this. Many just look better and fit better when sewn closed, so I do. I prefer to make gowns and change things up - I have more fabric and ideas than time!

How did you begin your collection? I first saw them on Etsy and wanted to make clothing for them. I bought V-Smash (my first doll) to use as a model and I also thought it would be a wonderful bonding experience to share with my 4 year old daughter. I soon afterwards bought her a petite Blythe. I now have 8 dolls and I opened a Blythe clothing shop on Etsy in January 2008

What would you like to say about your creations? I started out making coats because I couldn't find coats for my girls. I'm mostly known for coats but I hope to expand in the near future. My designs are really simple but I love adding handsewn details. I do a lot felt appliques with beading.

I saw a Pullip on display at the local Designer Toy store and fell in love with them. My first Pullip was Nero.

What would you like to say about your creations?

The Princess Tapi Collection was created in 2007. “Princess Tapi” was named after Tapi, my cat who passed away from an illness called FIV (similar to HIV in humans) in August 2002. I started off creating doll clothing and accessories in August 2007 and opened up the little Etsy shop, selling little accessories for Blythe and Pullip. The collection has expanded recently to include unique and stylized pieces for Pipos Baha/Heero Kitties, ZuZu Delf, Alice Cherry Blossom, Lati Yellow and Lati Blue (43cm MSD dolls).The collection features unique and stylized pieces that are sweet and playful, sometimes naughty! How did you begin your collection?
I first bought a Pullip doll after months of drooling over Pullip and Blythe pics online ! The first time I saw Blythe and Pullip dolls I immediately thought about buying one and sew for her. Sewing at this scale would be a fantastic challenge ! Some months after my first Pullipdolls I bought my first Blythe, and then the dolly craze started ! I now have different kind of dolls : Pullip, Blythe, Momoko, J-Doll and BJD.

What would you like to say about your creations?
All my creations are crafted with love ! I adore making them, it’s a real pleasure after a hard day of work ! I love to make tiny details and add a “girly” touch to everything. I sew with my machine but all the tiny details are handsewn.

What are your favourite dolls? Pullip & Dal

Since how long do you collect them? It’s nearly a year ago now my husband told me to purchase a Pullip Doll. I just couldn’t refuse! :)

How did you begin your collection? A friend started collecting Pullips and I was fascinated by them. I started to make some Doll Jewellery but got a bit frustrated that I didn’t have a doll to try them on. That’s how Ida, my Pullip princess, came into my life. Later her sister Isabella (Isa Dal) also moved in and just recently the doll family grew with two new members, a barbie (Amanda) and a doll (Ronja)of which I have no idea what kind of doll she is :)

What would you like to say about your creations? My first Pullip Choker I made over nearly a year ago now. My friend, who also inspired me to purchase my own Pullip, really liked it and kept nagging me about to start making more and selling them. It took a half year but it is thanks to her I started making more and sell them on etsy this year february.

My choice of material is Delica seedbeads which I stitch together and then fasten in the back with hooks. I often add a charm or a bead to perk it up a little. Personally I really like these chokers myself. And my girls are so pretty in them!

Except the dolls what do you do in the life? Officially, I'm an elementary school technology teacher. Well I'm certified to teach anything, but technology affords me the time to make dolly dresses on the side! I've been spending a lot of time trying to train my Great Dane puppy as of late. I also enjoy decorating my house, traveling with my husband, taking photos, baking/cooking, going to yard sales, & reading.

I saw a Mademoiselle Rosebud at FAO Schwartz in NYC when I was on my way back from my honeymoon in Greece. She reminded me of the girls Mark Ryden paints. I thought she was so cool! I didn't buy her though. I waited a while. Saving up for your first Blythe is hard to do!

What would you like to say about your creations?
I began selling on Etsy about one and a half years ago. I'm enamored by cute cute cute Japanese fabrics. I'm obsessed. Seriously, I dream about them. I love vintage-y poofy party dresses. My dresses are a marriage between the two. I enjoy making them so much. I'm a big bargain hunter myself, so I wanted to create items that are affordable to everyone. Simple stuff is what I love.

Since how long do you collect them? I resisted for the last couple years when I began seeing the exquisite photos of them all over the web. I gave in only a couple months ago but have been consumed by her.

How did you begin your collection? I found my perfect doll. She has the most beautiful hair!

What would you like to say about your creations? I try to use at least some recycled materials in my clothes, maybe using old clothes of mine or those I find at consignment shops. This keeps it so that my creations are truly limited. A lot I cannot duplicate. Even my crochet items, since I rarely use a pattern, I can usually not do the same thing again.

How did you begin your collection?
I had no clue about Blythe until I saw a special on TV, called We Love the 70's. That was in 2006. For almost one year I begged my husband for one and he finally gave in. That was the biggest mistake of his life. To date I have 13 or 14 I lost count.

What would you like to say about your creations?
My creations are inspired by vintage fashion. In enjoy doing what I do in my spare time. I don't like mass producing items and that's why most are limited. It's no fun making the same thing over, and over again.

How did you begin your collection? I started my collection with Pullips and had noticed the Blythe dolls on Etsy. Since discovering those dolls I now have all kinds of dolls in my collection. I have dolls from Bleeding Edge to vintage dolls and all kinds in between.

I was in a very difficult period in my life when I saw BJD at first time on a blog. I was completely fascinated! But the prices diverted me from these dolls.
Fortunately because a little time after I discovered pullips then blythes! I prefer these less realistic but so meaning dolls!
Dolls became a necessary bracket in my life. A poetic and magic universe. They helped me to forget my difficulties then to surmount them. I am grateful to them. I hope them to share my life for a long time!

What would you like to say about your creations?
My favorites raw materials are felted wool and colorful fabrics. I do like to create felted hats embroidered with beads and retro pretty dresses.
I began to create and to make for dolls because I did not find clothes which really corresponded to the style which I wanted.
Then I said to myself that some of my creations could please the other collectors! It's like that that I began to show my creations.More infos about you: (blog, flickr, shop addresses)
